A data center's backup-transfer settings need to answer two questions: when should it stay on the grid, and when should it transfer to backup?
In our synthetic simulation, a preliminary setting passed the original tests. Then a cached model-generated proposal added a simulated fault: repeated voltage dips spaced far enough apart to evade the setting's counter, but too shallow to trigger its separate deep-sag transfer rule.
The added test overturned the preliminary result. A second search rejected all 32 candidate settings. The final outcome was abstain, with no configuration recommended.
That is the useful boundary for an AI-assisted settings review: a proposal can add a harder test, while explicit checks decide whether the recommendation survives. Here, they withdrew it.
These are finite fixture tests, not an electrical certificate or a diagnosis of real equipment.
