Keeping a data center on the grid through voltage dips is only half the decision. Its backup system still needs to respond to a fault.
In our synthetic simulation, a preliminary setting passed the first checks. An added fault proposed by a model, using cached replies, exposed a gap: the dips were too far apart to trigger its counter and too shallow to trigger its deep-voltage protection.
The second search found no setting that met both goals in the tested scenarios, so the demo withdrew the recommendation.
For facilities teams, the useful check is what could make a proposed setting stay connected when it should transfer to backup, and whether that finding can stop the recommendation.
These finite simulator tests do not authorize changes to real equipment.
